Browser List ProjectThe browser list project was a project from June 1999 to June 2000 that attempted to catalog all available web browsers at the time. This site is being kept online as an archival resource. Old IntroductionYou know there is more the world wide web than Internet Explorer and Netscape (aka Internet Exploder and Netscrape for many). The purpose of the web is accessibility and one was is conformance to standards so people can use whatever browser they like. The point of this site is to show what sort of browsers are out there so people are aware of what options they have. Yes, there is a choice of browser for your computer! From PC running Windows, to Unix machines to Amigas and beyond, there are always options, we hope to show you what some of those are so you can make an informed decision when you go to pick your browser(s). This site is no longer being actively developed! As of January 2001, this site is no longer being maintained. So any
information you find here is only current up until June 2000. The primary
maintainer of this site, Graham Nasby, has chosen to spend his time doing
other things. Thank you for all of your past interest and support. However,
please feel free to make use of the material that is here and I hope you find
it can find it useful.
